Before you buy
Three things most Apple TV IPTV sellers won't say.
- IPTV apps are not on the UK App Store by default. Apple removes some IPTV players from certain regional App Stores on copyright grounds. If IPTV Smarters Pro or iPlayTV are not available in your App Store, you can either switch your Apple ID region to the US App Store or use GSE Smart IPTV which is more widely available.
- Older Apple TV HD caps at 1080p. The Apple TV HD (2015) cannot output 4K. You need an Apple TV 4K (1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen) to see 4K feeds at full resolution. We do not pretend otherwise.
- WiFi matters more than the Apple TV. 4K IPTV needs 25 Mbps per stream. If your Apple TV is on 2.4 GHz WiFi or far from the router, you will get buffering regardless of the app or the provider. Use 5 GHz or a wired Ethernet adapter.
