Cookie Policy.
What cookies MaxProTV uses, why, and how to manage them. Consent Mode v2 compliant.
This Cookie Policy explains how MaxProTV Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on maxprotv.net. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember your preferences, understand how it is used, and improve your experience. Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
2. Categories of cookies we use
MaxProTV uses two categories of cookies:
| Category | What it does |
|---|---|
| Essential | Required for the website to function. These include session cookies, form security cookies, and the cookie that stores your consent preference. They contain no tracking data and cannot be disabled. |
| Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics 4, loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Used to understand aggregate traffic patterns and improve the website. We use Consent Mode v2 so no analytics cookies are set before consent. |
We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Specific cookies we set
| Name | Purpose & lifespan |
|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie choice (accept / reject). Lifespan: 12 months. |
| session_id | Session cookie used for form security. Deleted when you close the browser. |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes users. Lifespan: up to 14 months. Set only with consent. |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — session state. Lifespan: up to 14 months. Set only with consent. |
4. Consent Mode v2
MaxProTV implements Google's Consent Mode v2 framework. This means that Google Analytics and any future Google Ads integrations are told your consent status before any data is collected. Specifically:
- Until you click Accept, all consent signals default to denied.
- Once you click Accept, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation are all set to granted.
- If you click Reject, all four signals remain denied and only cookieless pings are sent to Google (which contain no personal data).
5. How to manage cookies
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Change your choice on MaxProTV. Clear your browser's site data for
maxprotv.netand reload the page. The cookie banner will appear again and you can make a different choice. - Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. See your browser's help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
- Google Analytics opt-out. Google offers a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting your data. See tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
6. What happens if you disable cookies
If you disable essential cookies, parts of the site may not work. Specifically, the cookie banner may reappear on every visit and form submissions may fail. Disabling analytics cookies has no effect on site functionality.
7. Do Not Track
MaxProTV respects the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal. If your browser sends DNT, we will not load analytics cookies even if you previously accepted them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our services. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers.
