Editorial Policy.
How we create content, fact-check every claim, correct errors, and disclose any commercial relationships.
This Editorial Policy explains how MaxProTV Ltd produces and maintains the content on maxprotv.net. It covers our principles, our fact-checking process, our corrections process, and how we handle any commercial relationships.
1. Our editorial principles
MaxProTV publishes content with a single goal: to help you make an informed decision about IPTV, streaming devices, and related services. We follow these principles:
- Accuracy first. Every factual claim is verified before publication. Numbers are rounded conservatively. We do not exaggerate.
- No fake reviews. We do not publish invented testimonials, fake star ratings, or fabricated customer quotes. Any customer feedback we publish is real and used with permission.
- No hidden sponsorship. If a page is influenced by a commercial relationship, that relationship is disclosed at the top of the page.
- No AI-generated content. We do not publish AI-generated copy. We use AI only for research and internal workflows. Every published sentence is human-written and reviewed.
- Admit limitations. We do not claim to be perfect. We publish our real uptime, our real refund process, and our real limitations.
2. How we create content
Every page on maxprotv.net follows the same process:
- Research. We research the topic using primary sources: our own server logs and monitoring dashboards, official device manufacturer documentation, public ISP data, and regulator guidance.
- Outline. We outline the page to answer the primary question within the first 100 words, then expand with supporting sections.
- Draft. A human editor writes the draft. AI tools may be used to check grammar or suggest alternative phrasings, but not to generate substantive content.
- Fact-check. Every factual claim is checked against the original source. Numbers are verified twice. Quotes are checked against the original.
- Review. A second editor reviews the page for accuracy, readability, and compliance with this policy.
- Publish. The page goes live with a visible "Last updated" date.
3. Fact-checking standards
We apply specific standards to different types of claims:
| Claim type | Standard |
|---|---|
| Channel and VOD counts | Verified against our live playlist. Rounded down conservatively. Updated monthly. |
| Uptime | Calculated from our real server logs over a rolling 12-month window. We publish the actual figure, not a target. |
| Pricing | Verified against our current pricing table. Updated the moment prices change. |
| Device compatibility | Tested on the actual hardware or against official manufacturer documentation. |
| ISP names | Only named where we have tested them or where the ISP publishes relevant throttling data. |
| Legal statements | Reviewed by our legal advisor before publication. |
4. Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct it quickly and transparently. Our corrections process:
- Report. Email [email protected] with the subject "Correction Request". Include the page URL and the specific statement you believe is inaccurate.
- Acknowledge. We acknowledge your email within 24 hours and confirm whether we are investigating.
- Investigate. We check the original source, our logs, and any relevant documentation.
- Correct. If a correction is warranted, we update the page and add a visible note at the bottom explaining what changed and when.
- Notify. We email you with the outcome within 3 working days.
For full details, see our Corrections Policy.
5. Sponsored content and commercial relationships
MaxProTV is a commercial IPTV service. We make money by selling subscriptions. That is not a secret.
However, we do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or affiliate links in our editorial content. Specifically:
- We do not accept payment to write a positive review of another IPTV service.
- We do not accept payment to include a device manufacturer in our device pages.
- We do not use affiliate links in our editorial content. Any links to third-party products are plain links with no tracking.
- If we ever publish a page that is influenced by a commercial relationship, we will disclose it clearly at the top of the page in a box that says "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership".
6. Independence
Our editorial team operates independently of our sales team. The editorial team decides what to publish, what to review, and what to recommend. The sales team does not review, approve, or edit editorial content before publication.
If you believe our editorial independence has been compromised, please email [email protected] with the subject "Editorial Independence Concern". We take such reports seriously.
7. Use of AI
MaxProTV does not publish AI-generated content. We use AI tools only for:
- Grammar and spell-checking.
- Internal research and outline drafting.
- Generating internal reports and summaries.
Every sentence published on maxprotv.net is written or reviewed by a human editor who is accountable for its accuracy. Our ai-plugin.json declares our content as human-authored.
